You've been busy! Looks great, bro! IOMCowboy 07-30-2010, 05:21 PM Thanks man BeeMe 07-30-2010, 05:56 PM Did you install the hurst yourself? If so a write up here would be gret for the how to section. Plus what do you think of the Hurst? I had one on the GTO but it suffered from some growing pains as Hurst was sold to B&M and it kept getting delayed. IOMCowboy 07-30-2010, 06:12 PM I love the Hurst. It is a very reduced throw. It feels like 50% shorter even though I know that is not accurate. I did not get any picks of the installation because I did it myself in my garage. It was hot so I just wanted to get done. I will say you have to get the car up pretty high in the air. If you can get ramps use them. I used jack stands and i had to wiggle my way under the car; However I am 6ft tall and 230 lbs. The best thing you can do is go to youtube and serch for 2010 camaro hurst shifter. There is a very well put together how to video. I watched it three times and and went to work. It comes with a dampening kit that is not in the video and the directions tell you to only install if you get road noise. Install it anyway. It is way more trouble to take everything apart to put it in so just do it and save the headaque. BeeMe 07-31-2010, 12:22 AM You prettty much had it the first time. install seems pretty painless IOMCowboy 08-01-2010, 12:39 AM It was. It would have taken me less than an hour but I lost a screw for like half and hour before i found it stuck in the heat shielding. LOL 300 Addict 08-02-2010, 03:51 PM Very cool look man! |
