I have a question on the active fuel management. When I start the car and drive away it bogs and as I accelerate the engine peps up. Is this the active fuel management (AFM) doing what it's supposed to do. I thought it would kick in every now and then. It's annoying.

No it should really only kick in under cruising/no load situations. I don't think it would ever kick in at really low speed...

Any ideas? it almost feels like some kind of surging... chugging. Under full throttle it's ok. Street driving it bogs.. then as I accelerate I hear kind of a pop like from the air intake and it picks up spped then drops off ????

trip back to the dealer. You paid for at least the 3yr warranty might as well use it.

Dealer said there is nothing wrong. Said that because my exhaust was modified it makes it more noticable.
