Hello all,

I have a 93 Z-28 and had to replace the fuel pump.

As of now I have all the items disconnected (exhaust, heat shields, fuel lines, etc.) I took out both bolts holding the tank straps in place, pulled them down and the tank did not move.

I noticed that the tank straps adhered to the tank (kind of like double sided tape) and had to be pulled off.

Is there something similar on the top of the tank? Should I just pull harder on the tank?

Thanks in advance.

I am being told that on my 2000 Camaro in order to get the tank out I need to drop the rear axle?

Is this correct?

I don't have a problem but if I ever do am I in for a BIG job?
