I've driven a brand new ss with the 6-spd. it was pretty sweet, but there were some things that i didnt like. for one, you cant hear the engine at all. I mean it kinda defeats the point if your exhaust is so restrictive. Another thing was that the shift is weird. now Im no newbie to stick shifts, but that shifter is so weird... instead of the power going to the tires gradually as you let the clutch out, it all goes at once. supposedly its so you can get going easier when stopped on a hill, but idk.. i never had problems with that. it would take a while for me to get used to.

That may be true if it didnt' idle at 500rpm. The idle is so low you have to rev it first like a mustang driver then start letting the clutch out. I always hated stangs when they did this.And now I have to.

must be on older mustangs. my 07 gt/cs i could let the clutch out with no gas at all smoothly with no bogging or anything. it idles at like 750

2SS Vert Hurst short throw shifter and a SC making 680hp. Now I just have to wait for delivery to dealer and no snow LOL:smileup:
