i dont know if anyone has used VHT niteshades to tint lenses. i have used it on a bunch of my cars, and usually they come out ok. i found something that works better. i wish i had taken before and after pics. the stuff i use now is transparent plastic tint by model masters its made by testors. i needed to use almost the whole can to get the shade i wanted but it didnt turn my red lenses purple like niteshades does. i did all the lenses on my camaro with it. ive got a spare set of turn signals for my car, maybe ill go get another can so i can do a before and after pic.

niteshades? you just spray it on the lenses like paint. some guys wet sand and clear them after, i usually clear mine. i tried sanding them once and it didnt really do anything. mine dont come out so good sometimes. i think its because i dont use light coats to get the shade i want. i put on one heavy coat and it dulls the lenses. i did the corner lenses on my exploder and its starting to come off. thats why i thought id try the model car window tint spray. works good so far.

I want to try using the tinting my tails myself, but am afraid I will screw it up. They are aftermarket LED's that are smoked, but I want them darker.

if you do light coats youll be ok. if you dont like the way they look you can clean them off with oops really easy as long as you dont wait too long.
