A common question of car owners is what is the best motor oil to use. I have started a poll so members can vote on their favorite motor oil and also enlighten us why if they so choose.

i used to use royal purple, i got a discount through the store i used to work at. i noticed the price kept going up everytime i went to get some and my discount didnt help much so i switched to mobil 1. i use mobil 1 in my wifes car, castrol in my exploder and the camaro.

I've used nothing but Mobil 1 synthetic 5w30 in my Z and I will continue to do so until I hear that something better is on the market.:smileup:

Thats because Mobil 1 is not a true synthetic so it can not be sold as labeled. Only Group IV and V motor oils are considered synthetic outside of North America.

I use castrol european formula in my camaro

Mobil1 in all my rides. No problems so far. knock on wood I won't have any using the factory fill

Have Used Castrol fo 30 something years. I use it in all my cars and Harleys. No complaints yet.:old:

My owners manual said they put Mobil 1 in at the factory. Guess if it good enough for them I will continue what they used orginally.

Mobil 1, only cause THEY said so.

I run Royal Purple in every vehicle I have except for the power Ranger because its a p.o.s. Its funny when people see it and think Im way over due on an oil change. I tell Them to look a little harder. ...." Oh, its Purple!" lol
