I have a 1991 Camaro RS 8 cylinder 4.0 litre. From time to time something strange occurs when driving. All of a sudden the car chokes as if the gas has been cut off for a second. It jerked me back a little as if I had stepped on the brake abruptly. The car never stalled out completely just for a second. It's happened a few times within the past 1 or 2 years. Does anyone know what this is? I'd appreciate any ideas. Thanks!

Have you repleced the fuel filter ?
